Green Goose Lodge, so named because of the golf "green" and the endangered
"nene" goose, offers...
Two beautifully decorated, warm and comfortable
rooms and one for those "on-the-go" or extra keiki
(children). Bring your family or bring your hiking or golf buddies..
Our
Golf-View Room with a Queen-Size Bed fit for a King or our Second
Room (ideal for children or friends) with, what else, twin beds, will allow you that much-needed rest before your
next day's activities.

An inviting wood-burning fireplace and
over-sized sofa and loveseat, welcome you to tuck
your feet up and settle in with a good book. Sip a glass of wine with
your significant other or cozy-in with a warm throw and a good movie
or Volcano video in our "sink-into-me" living
room.
As a successful, former Honolulu caterer, your host,
Conard, will provide you with a delightful gourmet
breakfast. Dine in the fire-warmed dining room or breakfast
with the 'Early-Bird' golfers on the spacious lanai and sing with the wild turkeys and
kalish roaming the property.
Green Goose Lodge is less than a 5-minute drive to the
Visitors Center in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Established in 1916,
it is the home of the active Kilauea Volcano.
Offering the best of both worlds for the avid golfer and
hiker, Volcano's quaint little village also boasts it's two
'Mom & Pop' stores, gift shops, restaurants, a post office and, yes, even a
hardware store. Our Sunday morning
Farmer's Market is the gathering place for our residents and
visitors alike. Catch up on the latest happenings around the Village, enjoy a steaming cup of Kona Coffee and munch on
incredible baked goods and other delights.
Afternoon "Tea
on the Tee" served on the lanai.
A short walk will bring you to the Volcano Winery,
the "Home of Tropical Wines". A must-visit for the
wine connoisseur.
For those who care to venture outside of our enchanting
'Rainforest on the Volcano', the beautiful Punalu'u Black Sand Beach on the Puna
Coast,
white sand beaches of the Kona Coast and
Green Sand Beach
of South
Point will beckon you to return (or never leave!).
Tour the Tropical Gardens near Hilo, Parker Ranch in Waimea and many other attractions.
Green Goose Lodge is centrally located on the Island for easy-driving to all
sites of interest. See the map.
